CLINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: According to the City of Clinton’s Facebook page, all phone lines regarding city hall are back up and working.

Original: Residents and visitors to the town of Clinton, Indiana should be aware of a phone outage affecting the town’s offices, including some emergency services.

Mayor Jack Gilfoy said that the city’s phone lines are down and will likely continue to be down until Monday, January 30.

9-1-1 is said to still be in operation for those calling in emergency situations.

For non-emergency situations, the Sheriff’s Office can be contacted at 765-832-7785.

Gilfoy explained that a technical issue is the cause of the outage, and the delayed restoration was due to waiting on the shipping of a new part that would need to be installed.
