You probably remember Shayne Jansen from Love Is Blind — and you're about to see a lot more of him on new Netflix dating show Perfect Match.

The upcoming series kind of seems like Netflix's own version of Bachelor in Paradise, bringing together some of the streaming service’s most famous singles on a tropical island.

And while that's going to make for great TV, Shayne's ex Natalie Lee says he really shouldn't be on the show at all.

In fact, Natalie claims that she and Shayne were still together when he applied for the show in November 2021.

"I knew about the new dating show back in Sept 2021 because Shayne and I were both approached to apply for it while we were in a relationship," Natalie wrote on her Instagram stories, noting that casting didn’t know they were together at the time.

She continued, "We told each other we declined the opportunity, but I later found out he actually didn’t decline and started the casting process in Nov 2021 without my knowledge at the time, while we were still together."

The couple went on to break up later that month and cut contact until they saw each other at a reunion show taping — where Shayne apparently realized he still had feelings for Natalie.

"While Shayne was filming the new show in Feb 2022, he texted me numerous times he wanted to leave midway through filming because he still had feelings for me," Natalie explained.

She continued, "Knowing there was little hope for our relationship and how excited he was to do another reality TV show, I encouraged him to continue filming and tried to pacify the online backlash for him through my interviews and on my social media."

Natalie says that when filming wrapped, Shayne asked to meet up to discuss their relationship, and she ultimately told him that they "shouldn’t reconcile."

Their friendship ended up falling apart shortly after, when Shayne apparently lied about Natalie on a podcast. Natalie added that through all of this, Shayne "continues to bully and talk about" her and her friends on social media.

Meanwhile, Shayne shared his own thoughts on the situation, posting that he had been "holding back for some time."

"Obviously, with the new show coming out, I figured 'someone' would try to once again destroy my character for personal gain," he wrote. "I have tried to move on numerous times, but this keeps resurfacing, and I have boundaries."

He continued, "First, for 'anyone' to say I’m a clout chaser when I left Chicago — to go home to help my mom for months, instead of not posting myself with influence groups isn’t okay with me."

"For someone to talk about me negatively shortly after my mom passed. I’m just done," Shayne concluded.

Natalie has not yet responded to Shayne's post, but Perfect Match is set to premiere on February 14.
