Homicide trial continues for two accused of fatally shooting man in 2015

FOSTER TWP, LUZERNE CO, (WOLF) —
A Luzerne County Judge continued the homicide trial of Roberto Torner and David Alzugaray, accused of fatally shooting a man in 2015 in Foster Township.

The two men were charged in February 2020.

Investigators say the two used a handgun to kill the man and an axe to dismember the body.

The judge continued the trial, which was scheduled to begin this week, due to counsel needing more time to prepare for the trial.
