Four Males Arrested in Connection to Nassau Burglaries

Four Individuals have been arrested in connection to multiple burglaries that have occurred in Nassau County.

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of four individuals for multiple burglaries that occurred throughout Nassau County from November 26, 2022 through January 18, 2023.
According to Burglary Pattern Team Detectives, the four defendants while acting in concert did respond to the victim’s residences in a silver-colored Chevrolet Equinox, went to the rear or side of the victim’s homes and forcefully entered
through a window to gain entry. Once inside the defendants removed US currency, credit cards, jewelry, a handbag, a security system DVR player and a Smith &
Wesson Bodyguard .380 firearm. In total the proceeds from the seven burglaries were valued at approximately $82,000.00 US currency.
 
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023 the defendants responded to a residence on Pine Hill Road in Lake Success, went to the rear of the home and broke a bathroom window in attempt to gain entry. When an audible alarm activated the defendants fled the scene in a black Ford Edge. Lake Success Police Officers observed the defendant’s vehicle and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop. Subsequent to the investigation the firearm was recovered and the defendants were arrested without incident. These four defendants were responsible for six additional
burglaries at the following locations:
  • 11/26/2022 – Irwin Street, Herricks
  • 12/18/2022 – S. Marginal Road, Jericho
  • 12/18/2022 – Parkside Drive, Jericho
  • 12/29/2022 – Lillian Lane, Plainview
  • 01/02/2023 – Roselle Street, Mineola
  • 01/09/2023 – Summer Avenue, Manhasset
Arrested were: Defendant David Rodriguez Paez, 25, of Colombia was charged with four counts of Burglary 2 nd Degree and two counts of Attempted Burglary 2 nd Degree. Defendant Andres Felipe Rayo Lugo, 19, of 160-64 20th Street, Flushing, was charged with five counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and two counts of Attempted Burglary 2 nd Degree. Defendant Kevin Santiago Siabato
Canon, 19, of Colombia was charged with one count of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Attempted Burglary 2 nd Degree. Defendant Andres Felipe Canon Ibanez, 23, of Colombia was charged with one count of Burglary 2nd Degree and two counts of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree. All Defendants were arraigned on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at First District Court 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
