Gladys Victoria Grant, the daughter of Alfred and Cecelia (Keplin) Allard was born on December 19, 1932 in Belcourt, North Dakota. She died peacefully with her son by her side at the age of 90 years on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, North Dakota. She met the love of her life in high school and she and Sylvester Grant were united in marriage on September 1, 1954.

Gladys is survived by her son, Mark of Rugby; grandchildren, Mike Grant, Kayla (Devona) Grand, Gary Grant Jr.; great grandchildren, Alyza, Logan and Talon Grant, Elliona Hamley and Jassiah Decoteau and Bentley, Hazen, Hudson and Houston Grant; brother, Bill Allard of Rolla; sister, Stella Longie of Dunseith; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 27 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church west of Belcourt with burial in the spring in the church cemetery. Father Franklin Miller, Celebrant.

Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. with the reciting of the Holy Rosary starting at 9:00 a.m. at the church and visitation will continue until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.
