Man killed in Brookhaven apartment quadruple shooting identified, shooter charged

It happened during a party at the apartment complex called 3112 Brookhaven.

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Police in Brookhaven said four men were shot at an apartment complex Sunday morning and one is dead.

They said a party was being held at the apartment during the overnight hours and into the morning. They got the call around 10:35 a.m.

It happened along the 3100 block of Buford Highway near Curtis Drive. The complex is called 3112 Brookhaven where several law enforcement officers were spotted. 

On Monday, officers identified the deceased man as 44-year-old Jose Manuel Ozuna-Ruiz.

Police said the shooter, who also received gunshot wounds, is being charged with felony murder. His name was not released and they said he is in the hospital receiving treatment.
