LeBron James calls out Jalen Hurts 'haters' on social media

In Saturday night's divisional-round matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, quarterback Jalen Hurts led an offensive explosion in a 38-7 blowout win.

Hurts' performance caught the eye of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, who took a second to address the quarterback's haters on social media.

James' Tweet came after the Eagles had taken a two-touchdown lead over the Giants, but as the "King" is known to do, he saw the end result coming.

Still nursing a shoulder injury that kept him out of action for two of the Eagles' final three regular-season games, Hurts didn't look hampered against the Giants. The QB finished 16-of-24 for 154 yards and two touchdowns through the air, adding 34 yards and a touchdown off nine carries on the ground.

While Hurts' numbers on the surface might not be too impressive, he did the majority of his damage in the first half. Hurts went 12-of-17 for 118 yards with three total touchdowns before halftime. The Eagles held a 28-0 lead at the break, ending things before they started.

While there's still work to do, Saturday's performance should go a long way toward silencing any remaining critics of the third-year signal caller.

Since Hurts took over the starting job in Philly, doubts have followed the quarterback. After an early exit in the postseason last year, whispers about the Eagles not being sold on Hurts began to get louder. During the offseason, rumors linked the Eagles to both Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson.

Now, after hearing from all the doubters, Hurts has the Eagles a win away from reaching the Super Bowl.
