Town of Niagara officer shot at during burglary probe

Three men have been arrested in connection with a burglary investigation. Sheriff's deputies say a Town of Niagara Police officer was shot at, but not wounded.

Niagara, NY (WBEN) Three men have been arrested in connection with a burglary investigation. Niagara County Sheriff officials say a Town of Niagara Police officer was shot at, but not wounded.

Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies say they were assisting Town of Niagara Police at the Royal Park Apartments on Porter Road overnight when a Town of Niagara Police officer was fired upon. He was able to retreat without injury. Three men were detained shortly after.

Cornelius Redden III, 28 years old of Niagara Falls, was arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony) and Burglary 1st (B Felony). He was transported to the Niagara County Correctional Facility, where he was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and was remanded to the Correctional facility with no bail.

Charles Richardson, 24 years old of Niagara Falls, was arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony), Burglary 1st (B Felony), and Attempted Aggravated Assault of a Police Officer with a Deadly Weapon (B Felony). He was transported to the Niagara County Correctional Facility, where he was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and was remanded to the Correctional Facility with no bail.

Richardson is charged in connection with a burglary at an apartment complex.

Kalique Miller, 18 year old male of Niagara Falls, was arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony) and Burglary 1st (B Felony). Miller was also arrested on an arrest warrant out of Niagara Falls for Harassment 2nd and a Niagara County Court Indictment warrant. He was remanded to the Niagara County Correctional Facility with no bail.

Miller is charged in connection with a burglary at an apartment complex.
