Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The death toll from the 2022 blizzard in Erie County increased by three Thursday. The county says the three deaths were linked to a delayed EMS response.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted the deaths were because of a delayed EMS response. One was in Cheektowaga Christmas Eve, another in Amherst Christmas Day, and one in Buffalo December 27th.
Poloncarz says three more cases are still to be finalized by the Medical Examiner's Office pending toxicology reports to confirm the manner of death.
