1 Victim Found Deceased in Roadway After 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision

Mission Hills, Los Angeles, CA: Wet roads and high speeds were possible factors in a fatal traffic collision that occurred Sunday night, Jan. 15, at approximately 11:43 p.m. in the Mission Hills suburban neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported traffic collision on the 10100 block of Woodman Avenue.

When firefighters arrived, they found a two-vehicle traffic collision with one transported to a local area hospital and one victim deceased in the roadway.

Two other victims were evaluated at the location but declined transport for medical care.

The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division was at the scene and handling the investigation.

Woodman was closed both north and southbound while LAPD conducted their investigation.
