Jennifer Lopez shares never-before-seen pictures of her wedding dress
Jennifer Lopez is looking back at a stylish 2022.
The “Marry Me” star, 53, shared an overview of “one of the best years yet” on Instagram New Year’s Eve, and among the never-before-seen pictures and videos in her Reel were some snaps of the Ralph Lauren reception gown she wore during her August wedding to Ben Affleck.
In the video, which was labeled by month, the new Mrs. Affleck included some full-length photos of her stunning hooded dress for her Georgia wedding reception.
The mermaid-style gown, which was the third custom look she wore for the lavish nuptials, featured a sheer, organza overlay that draped over her hair like a hood and a sexy keyhole cutout trimmed with Swarovski crystals.
In the new photos, the just-married (again) couple stood in front of a car — perhaps leaving their reception — as Lopez, holding a bridal white clutch, showed off the gown in its full glory and Affleck looked smart in a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers.
Her $2 million, 27-carat diamond earrings from Samer Halimeh are just visible beneath the hood in the photo, which also gives a look at the gown’s softly flared skirt.
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer also showed off some behind-the-scenes moments during her wedding dress fittings, including one of herself reviewing sketches in May and another while trying on the ruffled look she wore to walk down the aisle in August.
Of course, some memories from the Afflecks’ Las Vegas wedding in July were featured, too, with the “Shotgun Wedding” star showing off her off-the-shoulder lace Zuhair Murad dress in some more never-before-seen snaps included in the Reel.
In one pic, the newlyweds pose on top of a car holding hands, while in another, J.Lo shows off a better look at her sexy lace gown.
Lopez — who recently posed nude to promote her new JLo Body products — reflected on her momentous year in the post, writing “2022 was one of the best years yet!!! I cannot wait for all that’s to come next year …” and adding the hashtags #HappyNewYear, #ImJustGettingStarted, #WaitingForTonight and #ThisIsMeNow.
After such a memorable — and fashionable — 2022, we can’t wait to see what J.Lo has in store for us this year.
