Victim Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision Airlifted to Hospital

Agua Dulce, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was airlifted to Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center following a violent crash in Agua Dulce, a census-designated place in Los Angeles County.

The crash was first reported to 911 operators at 9:15 p.m. Dec. 26, on the 14300 block of Sierra Highway north of Davenport Road outside of Santa Clarita.

Several 911 callers reported two vehicles, a black Mercedes CLA 250 and a silver Honda Accord, had crashed resulting in one unconscious person on the ground.

The callers also reported several additional people with injuries sustained in the crash.

Firefighters, EMTs and California Highway Patrol officers worked together to stabilize the unconscious crash victim and eventually transported them to Agua Dulce Airpark to an awaiting Los Angeles County Fire Department Air Operations helicopter.

The Bell 412 flew the person to Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center in unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
