A West Clermont Middle School student has been suspended after officials were made aware of a possible school threat this week.The Clermont County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday school officials were made aware of a sixth-grader who made threats of "shooting up the school" while in class.Officials started an investigation and identified the student accused of making the threatening statement.The student said it was a conversation about song lyrics that talk about a shooting and that he had no intentions of carrying out a threat or had access to any weapons.The student was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and was placed on suspension.
