But where do you go? Well, Erie County is here to help.
On Twitter, Erie County Executive Director Mark Poloncarz reminded everyone that the county has a website that lets you find local Christmas trees here in Western New York.
Of course the website does so much more as well.
When you log in, not only can you find local Christmas trees, but you can also find local growers that offer fruits and vegetables.
Currently in season here in Western New York are beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrot, collard greens, honey, mushrooms, and parsnips.
Also on the website, you can find local farmer's markets, maple syrup locations and so much more.
Of course this year you can expect to paid more for your Christmas tree. The cost of shipping, fuel, and transportation has lead to an increase per tree.
On average you are looking at about 5-15% increase in the price of a tree compared to last year. That is for the pre-cut trees. You might see no increase or just a slight one at farms where you can cut down your own tree.
