The high school boys basketball FORUM Tipoff Classic is set for Saturday at Southport Fieldhouse. Here is an updated look at the schedule, teams and players to watch. Tickets are $15 for the all-day event:

North Daviess vs. Beech Grove, noon: Defending Class 3A state champion Beech Grove (3-1) knocked off previous 3A No. 1 NorthWood 55-51 last week in the Sneakers for Santa Shootout at Brownsburg and now gets a shot at 3A second-ranked North Daviess (3-0), which moved up two classes after winning Class A last season. Balanced Beech Grove, ranked fifth in 3A, is led by seniors Jeremiah Tate (13.0 ppg, 2.5 assists), Cam Brown (12.3 ppg, 5.3 rebounds), Jaleel Edwards (11.0 ppg, 2.8 assists) and Jeremiah Alexander (10.8 ppg, 5.0 assists). North Daviess is led by 5-11 senior Jaylen Mullen (17.7 ppg, 9.0 assists, 2.0 steals), seniors Lance Wilson (13.7 ppg, 3.7 assists, 2.0 steals) and Logan Wilson (10.7 ppg, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals) and 6-5 senior Brendan Stickles (9.7 ppg, 4.7 rebounds).

Franklin Central vs. Norwell, 1:45 p.m.: Class 3A No. 8 Norwell (3-1) has won three consecutive games since a one-point season-opening loss to 4A Carroll (Fort Wayne). The Knights are led by senior and Bethel commit Luke McBride (22.5 ppg, 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 10-for-17 from 3), along with Lleyton Bailey (12.8 ppg, 4.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds), Cohen Bailey (9.5 ppg, 3.5 rebounds) and Jake Parker (8.5 ppg). Franklin Central (0-3) has played a tough schedule so far with Center Grove, Lawrence Central and Brownsburg, followed by Ben Davis on Friday. Those teams are a combined 15-2. Franklin Central is led by senior Bryce Hoover (11.3 ppg, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists) and Elijah Crockett (9.7 ppg, 4.3 rebounds), junior Josh Moriarty (8.3 ppg, 3.0 rebounds) and 6-6 freshman EJ Hazelett (7.3 ppg, 3.7 rebounds).

Crown Point vs. Southport, 3:30 p.m.: Southport (2-1) is coming off a two-point win over Lawrence North and took Ben Davis to overtime in its only loss. The Cardinals are led by seniors A.J. Dancler (20.0 ppg, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists), Keyon Miller (11.0 ppg, 4.0 assists), Nickens Lemba (10.7 ppg, 8.7 rebounds) and Jayden Pinkston (7.3 ppg, 4.3 rebounds). Crown Point (3-1) lost only to 4A third-ranked Penn and is led by senior and Bellarmine commit A.J. Lux (20.8 ppg, 4.0 assists, 15-for-34 from 3), junior Jack Svetich (11.0 ppg, 5.8 assists) and senior Keaton Buuck (9.3 ppg, 4.0 rebounds).

Bloomington North vs. Fishers, 5:15 p.m.: Bloomington North (2-1) is a two-point loss to Center Grove away from being undefeated. Vanderbilt recruit JQ Roberts is one of the top seniors in the state, averaging 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds through three games. Seniors Dewan Daniels (8.3 ppg, 4.0 rebounds) and Gavin Reed (7.7 ppg, 3.0 rebounds) are other top players for the Cougars. Fishers (3-3) has lost to No. 2 Ben Davis, No. 8 Carmel and Noblesville, which is just outside the 4A top-10. The Tigers are led by 6-7 sophomore Jalen Haralson (26.0 ppg, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists), along with juniors Keenan Garner (8.8 ppg, 5.2 rebounds) and Taden Metzger (7.7 ppg) and sophomore JonAnthony Hall (6.7 ppg, 4.2 rebounds).

Penn vs. Zionsville, 7 p.m.: Class 4A third-ranked Penn (3-0) is state title contender in the north, led by Notre Dame recruit and senior guard Markus Burton (28.7 ppg, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 steals, 4.0 assists), along with seniors Joey Garwood (16.3 ppg, 4.3 rebounds), Joe Smith (9.0 ppg, 2.0 steals), Dylan Derda (7.0 ppg, 6.7 rebounds) and Josh Gatete (3.7 ppg, 5.0 rebounds). Zionsville (2-2) is led by 6-4 senior and Penn State commit Logan Imes (15.8 ppg, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists) and 6-10 senior and UNC-Charlotte commit Nick Richart (12.3 ppg, 7.3 rebounds). Sophomore Drew Snively is averaging 7.3 points on 4-for-12 shooting from the 3-point line for the Eagles.

Ben Davis vs. Cathedral, 8:30 p.m.: This a matchup of No. 1 Cathedral (4-0) and No. 2 Ben Davis (5-0) in Class 4A. Ben Davis won the regular-season matchup last year, but the Irish came back and won the rematch in the regional championship at Southport. Cathedral is led by senior and Purdue football recruit Jaron Tibbs (21.3 ppg, 4.7 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals), 6-11 Michigan State commit Xavier Booker (15.8 ppg, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 blocked shots), senior Kamari Slaughter (12.0 ppg, 3.8 assists) and senior and Mercer commit Jake Davis (11.3 ppg, 6.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists). The Irish are shooting 46% from the 3-point line. Ben Davis is led by 6-9 senior Zane Doughty (15.8 ppg, 9.8 rebounds), senior point guard Sheridan Sharp (8.8 ppg, 5.6 assists), junior guard KJ Windham (8.8 ppg) and senior guard Clay Butler (8.8 ppg). Sophomore Mark Zackery, senior Shaun Arnold, junior Mark White and senior Jesse Faires also play key roles for the Giants.
