Police are investigating a bomb threat that was made against Lake Oswego High School through a social media app.
Police said late Thursday night they had identified and interviewed a suspect, who is a juvenile, and said there appears to be no threat to the public.
Police said they were made aware of the threat posted on TikTok on Thursday evening.
Lake Oswego School District staff found out about the threat after someone left a tip on the SafeOregon tip line. District employees notified police immediately.
The Lake Oswego Police Department said it’ll have more officers at the school on Friday as a precaution, even after identifying and interviewing the suspect.
On Wednesday, Portland police said a threat had been made against all schools in the city. They also believe it was not credible.
