More foggy nights ahead

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Tonight will be another very foggy night with a dense fog advisory out for the entire area from 11 PM to 9 AM. Temperatures will hover around 60 degrees.

Friday start off foggy, but the sun will shine (at least a little bit) after the fog clears. Highs will be in the middle and upper 70s. An isolated shower is possible as a cold front moves across the Southeast.

Saturday should start off foggy and around 60 degrees again. A possible back door cold front could keep our afternoon highs in the low to possibly middle 70s. A light shower or two is possible.

Sunday has a 40-50% chance for rain as scattered showers move across the Southeast. Temperatures will start in the middle 50s and end up in the low 70s.

Monday and Tuesday both have a 20% chance for showers with morning lows in the middle 50s and highs expected to top out around 70 degrees.

A new system moves across the US and into our region on Wednesday bringing us showers and storms. Like last week, some of the storms could be on the strong to potentially severe side. We are too far out to discuss specific details and timing, but be weather aware the middle of next week! High temps will peak in the low 70s likely before the storms roll in.

Thursday starts off warm, but it ushers in cooler air in the afternoon hours as highs only move into the middle and upper 60s. Showers will be possible in the morning.
