Monticello 59, Delano 45, On a game heard right here on AM 1360 KRWC, The Magic pulled away from the Tigers in a non conference win. Samantha Voll lead the Magic with 13, while Taylor Tool lead the Tigers with 18.

Samantha Voll, above, has gotten off to a great start this season, and so have the Magic who improved to 3-0 with their win over Delano on Tuesday night.

Rockford 59, West Lutheran, 39

Cambridge-Isanti 56, Buffalo 39, Jordan Anderson had 16 points in the loss.

Jordan Anderson, above, made her season debut for the Bison on Tuesday night, and scored 18 points.

Annandale 50, Big Lake 21, Kali Jones netted 12 points for the Cards in the win.

Boys Basketball

Buffalo 76, Cambridge-Isanti, 67, Nate Dahl had a career high 44 points for the Bison.

Delano 66, Monticello, 53, Jake Schultz scored 22 for the Tigers.

Howard Lake WW 83, Sibley East 51, The Lakers picked up their first win of the season behind 23 points from Cody Stapel.

Dassel-Cokato 52, Providence 39, Kasen Warner lead the Chargers with 15 points.

Breck 78, Rockford 55, in the loss Ty Kulavik scored 18 for the Rockets.

STMA 72, Rogers 64, Logan Kuntz lead the Knights over the Royals with 18 points.

Annandale 58, Foley 47, The defending 2A state champs remained undefeated early in the season with a win over the Falcons.

Girls Hockey

Litchfield-DC 3, Mankato East 1, Lydia Schultz scored two goals in the win for the LDC.

The LDC Dragons, above, are off to a great start this year, and on Tuesday skated past Mankato East.

Boys Hockey

Monticello 2, Chisago Lakes 2, Landon Scherber scored both goals for the Moose.

Litchfield-DC 4, River Lakes 4, Connor Taber had a goal and an assist for LDC.

Thursday, Dec. 8th

Boys Hockey

Buffalo 4, Chaska 1, Ryan Roethke scored a goal and had two assist’s in the Bison win.

Delano 6, SW Christian 0, Will Brown scored two goals and had three assist’s, while Drew Dorsey picked up the shutout for the Tigers.

Will Brown, above, had 5 points on Thursday night in the Tigers win.

Mahtomedi 7, STMA 4, Caleb Waller and Ryan Jordan netted two goals each for the Knights in the loss.

Girls Hockey

Litchfield-DC 4, Waconia 0, Camryn Iverson scored two goals for LDC and Kira Kuechle pitched a shutout for LDC.

North Wright County 5, Osseo 1, Five different players scored for the River Hawks, with Jessie VanKuyk picking up the game winner.

Delano 2, Northern Tier 1, Kayla Simonson stopped 26 of 27 shots in the win for Delano.

Girls Basketball

Buffalo 64, St. Francis 45, Brylie Guida, and Jordan Anderson combined for 36 points, as the Bison picked up their first win of the season.

Boys Basketball

Buffalo 78, St. Francis 50, Eleven different Bison scored in the win, with Nate Dahl leading the team with 17 points.

Blaine 70, STMA 63, The Knights had a five point lead at the half, but the Bengals rallied for the win in the second half. Landon Riebel scored 18 in the loss for the Knights.

Delano 64, New Prague 41, Juke Schultz scored 20 in the win for the Tigers.

Rockford 80, Kimball 38, Blake Johnson lead the rout for the Rockets with 27 points.

The young Rockets are off to a good start this year.

Gymnastics

Hopkins 138.5, Buffalo 134.5, Annabelle Spears was the all around winner on Thursday with a score of 36.5. Audrey Strike, from Buffalo was second with a score of 35.5.

Boys Swim and Dive

Monticello 99, Chisago Lakes 76, Paul Fason lead the way by winning the 200 IM.

Friday, Dec. 9th

Boys Basketball

Annandale 57, Becker 56, The Cards missed a three pointer at the buzzer as the Bulldogs survived the Annandale on Friday night. Nick Walter lead the Cards with 22.

Norwood Young America 90, Monticello 82, In a wild game Braeden O’ Neil scored 60 points as the Raiders outlasted the Magic on Friday night.

Girls Basketball

STMA 85, Bemidji 30, Tessa Johnson and Ava Haus combined for 41 points in the Knights runaway victory over Bemidji.

New London Spicer 52, Delano 50, The Tigers put up a great fight against the top 10 Wildcats, but came up just short on Friday night.

Monticello 74, Zimmerman 46, The Magic improved to 4-0 with the win over the Thunder.

Girls Hockey

Roseau 4, Buffalo 1, Raegan Wurm scored the only Bison goal in the game, and Ava Jovan stopped 48 shots for the Bison in their home loss to Roseau on Friday night.

Delano 1, Pine City 0, Kayleigh Olson scored the only goal of the game, and Kayla Simonson stopped all 24 shots she faced in the shutout win for Delano.
