It may be early in the Railbelt Conference regular season for high school hockey; however, with one less team in the conference in 2022-23 (Homer Mariners) and no conference qualifying tournament to the ASAA Division II State Hockey Championships, every conference game takes on added importance and the Soldotna Stars and Kenai Kardinals are hosting the 2-0 Palmer Moose with conference games Thursday-Saturday.

SoHi vs Palmer    Thursday, December 8th    5:30 p.m.   ESPN 1140AM, 96.9 FM and streaming at radiokenai.com

The Soldotna Stars, 2-0 in the Railbelt, host the Palmer Moose on Thursday, December 8th at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.  The Stars are coming-off back-to-back shutouts of the Kodiak Bears 9-0 and 10-0 last weekend.  The Moose fell 4-3 to DI Colony on Tuesday in non-conference hockey.
