Police have arrested a suspect linked to a strangulation that took place in Brooklyn Sunday.
The NYPD says a 25-year-old woman was choked and attacked by a group of people while waiting for the 2 train at the Grand Army Plaza station.
A 16-year-old connected to the crime is in custody and is facing strangulation charges. According to police, the group surrounded the victim and started choking her while dragging her to the ground. The group then fled.
The victim was treated at the scene.
