A major step toward funding US 412 expansion between Kennett and the state-line is underway. MoDOT started an environmental study in September, and Area Engineer Dave Wyman says they work with a lot of agencies during the study.
Plus, Wyman, says they work with all the communities affected in a process that continues into next year.
MoDot is hosting a community briefing on the environmental study from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the high school gym in Senath. It’s a drop-in type of meeting, where Wyman and others will be available to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
