Provo police said they are trying to identify two vehicles as they investigate a hit and run that killed a 21-year-old jogger.
Isabelle Parr was hit and killed Thursday evening near 850 West 800 North. Police said whoever hit her left the scene without reporting it.
"Investigators are seeking help identifying possible witnesses seen in the area who may be able to provide valuable information," police said in a news release Wednesday, releasing photos of two vehicles that were in the area around 5:23 p.m. Thursday, December 1, when Parr was hit. "Although the photo quality is poor, the two vehicles shown include a four-door dark colored truck and a dark colored crossover SUV."
Police asked anyone with information about the identity of the drivers of those vehicles to contact them at 801-852-6385 or by email at csmith@provo.org.
Parr was a Utah Valley University student who had recently served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kansas, according to her family. A GoFundMe page was set up to help with funeral expenses.
