The awards continue to pour in for Oregon State football. Wednesday, Jack Colletto, also known as Jack-hammer Colletto, the Swiss army knife for the Beavers was awarded the Paul Hornung Award; which is given to college football's most versatile player.
Colletto showed up to OSU in 2018 as a quarterback, but then was moved to defense and special teams after losing the QB 1 job.
But he proved to be a special weapon for the Beaver’s offense, especially in short yardage.
This season for the Beavs he racked up 23 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery while rushing for 86 yards and 6 touchdowns.
He also threw for 53 yards and caught 3 passes for 46 yards.
Colletto is just the 13th winner of the award and the 4th player from the PAC-12 to win the Hornung Award; the first since NFL star Christian McCaffery won it back in 2015 at Stanford.
