The storm that brought morning rain and snow to southern and central Utah is moving north, and it will arrive at the Wasatch Front just in time for the evening commute.
Southern portions of the Wasatch Front will be the most likely to see some light snowfall on the drive home, and snow will creep to northern areas later on in the evening.
Snow showers should remain light during the drive, though a little slush may accumulate on roads -- especially later in the evening as temperatures cool down.
It will all taper off overnight, making for a calm commute on Thursday, as far as the weather is concerned.
The 2News Weather team is monitoring the next big event, currently headed in Utah's direction. If it stays the course, it could produce some pretty significant snow during the weekend. Stick with 2News online, on KUTV, and on the 2News app for the latest.
