What Texas-based burger chain is opening its first Louisiana location in Shreveport?

The first Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Louisiana will have its grand opening in Shreveport where the Grub Burger Bar used to be on E. 70th St. on Tuesday, December 13.

The new Shreveport location is the sixth of 18 Grub locations converted after being acquired by the Hopdoddy brand in January as part of its strategic launch of Hibar Hospitality Group. The newly renovated space has music-themed decor, a full-service bar and a covered, dog-friendly patio.

Hopdoddy has a craveable menu featuring humanely and sustainably raised Certified Piedmontese Beef, Force of Nature 100% grass-fed, regenerative bison and cage-free chicken from Red Bird Farms. If you're living a plant-based lifestyle, you can also enjoy the vegetarian black bean and corn patty, or if you're vegan there is a 100% plant-based Beyond Meat patty along with a gluten-free menu.

"We're excited to raise the burger bar in Shreveport," said Hopdoddy CEO Jeff Chandler. "At Hopdoddy, we do the familiar in an unfamiliar way. Our unique burger concoctions and shareable fries really push the boundaries of what's expected. We can't wait to celebrate our first Louisiana location with the Shreveport community. Hopdoddy Burger Bar is located at 1370 E. 70th St. in Shreveport and open Monday - Thursday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., Friday - Saturday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
