MILFORD, Conn. (WCBS 880) -- Police charged a 42-year-old man with murder in the death of a 40-year-old woman in Connecticut on Tuesday, authorities confirmed.
Just after 9 p.m., officials were called to the Longmeadow condo complex located at 76 Salem Walk in Milford.
Authorities identified the victim as Julie Minogue, who they said was also known as Minogoe.
Police tracked down Ewen Dewitt and took him into custody, officials said.
Dewitt was charged with murder, criminal violation of a protective order, criminal violation of a restraining order, risk of injury and reckless endangerment, risk of injury, and reckless endangerment.
He is being held on $5 million bond and is scheduled for court on Dec. 14.
Minogue's death appeared to be a targeted attack, according to officials.
An investigation remains ongoing.
