  • Cajun Steamer renovating space for a new location in Hendersonville

Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill plans to open a new Hendersonville restaurant in early 2023, according to the company.

The future Cajun Steamer location will be part of a new commercial center at 185 Indian Lake Blvd. A specific date wasn't known, but a spokesperson for the restaurant said it would be in the first quarter of the year.

There will be approximately 100 seats inside the new restaurant between the main dining room and the mezzanine, according to a company spokesperson. A patio will provide an additional 30-34 seats.

Space at a multi-tenant commercial center on Indian Lake Boulevard in Hendersonville where Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill plans to open.

The restaurant will hire somewhere between 55-60 employees. 

Cajun Steamer also has Middle Tennessee locations in Franklin and Murfreesboro.

Publix announces opening dates for Gallatin, Lebanon stores

Publix has announced its new Gallatin store at 1931 Long Hollow Pike will open at 7 a.m., Dec. 14, according to the company.

The Gallatin store is part of the Newmans Crossing development that includes 98 townhome units, two commercial outparcels and the grocery store with retail. Nearly all the townhomes are built and Twice Daily occupies one of the outparcels, Gallatin Planning Director William McCord said.

The store is just over 48,000 square feet, Publix spokesperson Jared Glover said.

Publix also opened a new store in Gallatin in late as part of The Shops at Windsong mixed-use development at the northwest corner of State Route 109 and South Water Avenue.

Another new Publix in Lebanon off State Route 109 and Hickory Ridge Road in Lebanon Dec. 14, opening scheduled, Glover said. The store in Lebanon is part of the Hickory Ridge Shopping Center that the Publix will anchor.

Both stores will hire around 130 employees, Glover said.
