Despite its rise in popularity, the Manaslu Trek remains relatively off-the-beaten path compared to the better-known teahouse treks in Nepal. Manaslu circuit Trek (16 days)

Starting and ending in Kathmandu, this 16-day guided adventure takes you through a total of 13 destinations in Nepal. Taking you into the Manaslu conservation area, the journey traverses the stunning scenery to the mythical Tsum Valley, which is culturally tied with Tibetan Buddhism, a sacred territory and is brimming with pristine woodlands. Afterwards explore the unexplored Himalayas gems and panorama from Lho, Shyala, Samagau, Samdo and Larky La. Manaslu Circuit Trek (12 Days)

The shortest trip on our list – and the most affordable – this 12-day trip begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola. Here, you’ll embark on your first trek, heading toward Samagaon via Machha Khola, Jagat, Deng, and Namrung. In Samagaon, you’ll spend one whole day resting and recuperating, as well as visiting local villages around. With energy levels restored, you’ll make the short hike to Manaslu Base Camp via the Ridge of Birendra Lake for stunning views of the Manaslu Region. The trails also offers a chance of encountering yaks, blue sheep, and other Himalayan animals and birds. The trekking ends  in Besisahar, where you’ll be driven back to Kathmandu.
