HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Sue Wray with BrightHouse told Hutch Post that Stuff the Bus was successful again in 2022. 

"We collected 3062 items which is fewer than last year," Wray said. "The things we collected did seem to have higher value, such as more boxed cereal and toilet paper and paper towels."

Gift card contributions were up this year, as well.

"For gift cards, we collected $975 worth, $380 more than last year," Wray said. "Total collections of gift cards and cash were almost $670 over 2021."

Thanks to Envista Credit Union sponsoring a cash match for December the cash gifts will be doubled.
