BALTIMORE — An MTA bus crashed and overturned in South Baltimore Wednesday morning, leaving three people injured.
The collision happened around 8:30am near the railroad tracks at W. McComas and S. Hanover Streets.
MTA identified the bus involved as LocalLink 71.
In an email to WMAR the agency said the bus "appeared to have lost traction due to the wet road conditions."
The operator and two passengers onboard were taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered non-life threatening.
Pictures of the scene were tweeted out by the local fire union. They say a hazmat team responded to cleanup leaking fluids from the bus.
