On Wednesday, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will honor those killed in the attacks on Pearl Harbor 81 years ago.
The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. aboard the USS Yorktown.
It will focus on honoring the 25 known South Carolinians who died when the Japanese attacked in 1941.
The service is organized with Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10624. It will include a wreath-laying, tolling of a bell, and a traditional gun salute.
Admission fees to the museum will be waived from 10 to 11 a.m. for the service.
Patriots Point will also host the "Life and Legacy" blood drive with the Blood Connection from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All donors will receive free parking the museum lot and a $20 e-gift card.
