Kenny Smith shoves Shaquille O’Neal into Christmas tree in ‘NBA on TNT’ race

If a Shaquille O’Neal falls in the forest, does it make a sound?

“NBA on TNT” analyst Kenny Smith decided to race his co-host to the show’s big board, but the cagey 57-year-old had a trick up his sleeve. He shoved Shaq into a nearby Christmas tree to gain the advantage on Tuesday night.

“That was bad right there!” Charles Barkley said, watching the scene unfold from his seat on set.

There were plenty of laughs for the “NBA on TNT” crew, and the stunt likely means more laughs — and that Smith should keep his head on a swivel.

“Alright Kenny,” the 50-year-old Shaq said after Barkley and Ernie Johnson pulled the 7-foot-1 basketball Hall of Famer out from under the tree. “Kenny, this means war.”
