Columbus police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a bank on the northeast side.
Police said the suspect went into the Fifth Third bank at 5960 North Hamilton Road around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and gave the teller a note demanding money.
According to police, the suspect threatened he was armed with a gun.
The teller gave the suspect cash and he was last seen leaving the area in a newer model white SUV.
Police said the suspect is 6 feet 1-2 inches tall with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a baseball cap, a blue surgical mask, blue pants, and white and black Nike shoes.
