What’s New at Magic Kingdom: More Ornaments and a Chaotic Pair of Minnie Ears

Disneyland is THE place to be in 2023. SO much fun stuff is happening there right now. You’ve got the 100th Anniversary Celebration, which has brought new decor, a NEW castle makeover, new treats, and more to the resort. There’s also a brand new ride that just opened, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, PLUS the NEW Toontown will be opening soon, too! So what if you could win a free trip to Disneyland?

At the 2022 D23 Expo, we learned that Disneyland’s Paradise Pier Hotel is being re-themed to be allllll about Pixar!. It’s finally happening! We have an official opening date for TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom. We don’t have to wait long — the ride will open on April 4th! We’ve already learned a LOT more about it, including how it will have a virtual queue and be an Individual Lightning Lane option on Genie+. We also know guests will need to use lockers before they ride the attraction. Now, we want to point out an important detail about the ride’s seating.

It’s no surprise that one of our favorite ways of exploring Disney World is to go on the hunt for new treats!. And Disney’s Riviera Resort is so good at tempting us with decadent eats. From the top-tier character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace to the seasonal offerings at Petit Cafe, this resort is filled with good food. Today, we found a new surprise at Primo Piatto, a quick-service restaurant that serves up some tasty food in a pinch, and it gave us some mixed feelings.

If you’re headed to EPCOT today, you might want to keep an eye out for something new. Now, there are already a LOT of changes happening at EPCOT — the park is undergoing a massive transformation and there’s a LOT of construction going on, including work on Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. But this morning, something ELSE has changed about the park.

Maybe you wait in line at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom to meet the princesses. Maybe you prefer meeting the Wicked Stepsisters instead. Maybe you’re more about meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. Well, we bet there’s one character experience you HAVEN’T done yet in Disney World.
