Returning at a new venue after taking a hiatus in 2022, Railbird is hoping to regroup following missteps that led to some less-than-stellar reviews about the 2021 event. Responding to those complaints — many of which centered on the heat and lengthy lines for water — event organizers are promising changes. Those include double the number of water stations, additional shade structures, and allowing refillable water bottles.
As for the lineup, the name most likely to catch the eye of Kentuckians is native Tyler Childers, who is headlining. Other acts set to take the stage include Zach Bryan, Marcus Mumford, Sheryl Crow, Weezer, Jenny Lewis, and many others.
The festival will take place June 3 and 4th at The Infield at the Red Mile.
