Tuesday at the NovaCare Complex was a busy one. News of Brandon Graham’s nomination for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award began spreading before the Philadelphia Eagles made their coordinators available for the media. A flurry of roster moves came later.

Wednesday approaches. As is always the case, that means another Philadelphia Eagles practice session approaches. When we arrive at that juncture and things get going, there will be some noticeable changes to the depth chart as a flurry of roster moves were announced on Tuesday.

The Eagles make their weekly roster shuffle ahead of Week 14’s game versus the Giants.

According to an official team report, as expected, Robert Quinn will indeed head to the team’s injured reserve as he’s expected to miss time following a knee scope. The veteran will have the procedure done this week, but at minimum, he’ll miss the next four games. If everything goes according to plan, however, he could return ahead of the postseason.

In addition, defensive end Janarius Robinson has been signed to the active roster from the injured reserve. Safety Andre Chachere has been released. Defensive tackle Anthony Rush, cornerback Javelin Guidry, and wide receiver Kawaan Baker have all been released from the practice squad.

As it stands, the Eagles have 13 players on their practice squad. They have room for four more to bring the tally back to 17. Keep in mind the fact that Matt Leo is given a special roster consideration. He doesn’t count against the scout team tally as he’s part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program. Philly also has an open spot on the 53-man roster.

In other words, more moves are coming. As you can see, it’s been a busy day and busy week already. There’s a lot of work to do. The first of two games versus the New York Giants is on the horizon.
