ITS ABOUT TIME THAT SAVERS RECEIVED A DECENT RETURN ON THEIR SAVINGS.INTEREST RATES SHOULD RETURN TO 1980s LEVELS OF AT LEAST 9%.MORTGAGE RATES IN1987 WERE 12.75%, AND THE ECONOMY WAS DOING JUST FINE. THE FEDERAL RESERVE HAS GOTTEN PEOPLE ADDICTED TO REDICULOUSLY LOW INTEREST RATES BECAUSE POLITICIANS WOULD PRESSURE THEM TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE INTEREST RATES. THIS WAS FOOLISH. AND THIS IS PARTIALKY WHY OUR ECONOMY IS A JOKE, AND PEOPLE ARE GOING TO SUFFER, FACING A RECESSION IN 2023.
