1 dead, 1 injured in Bath County fire

BATH COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal residential fire.
KSP said the fire took place Tuesday on Old Sands Road in Bath County.
Human remains were found inside the residence during the investigation and the remains have been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.

Cheryl Fields, 70, was able to make it out of the residence and was transported to St. Claire Healthcare for treatment.
