A Wisconsin RB is going to be reportedly testing the transfer portal now that the window is officially open. It’s not Braelon Allen by the way.

Isaac Guerendo is heading into the transfer portal, per ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg. Guerendo played in 20 games as a Badger. From 2019-2022 Guerendo had 582 yards rushing, 124 yards receiving, and 7 total touchdowns.

OL Michael Furtney and QB Graham Mertz were the latest players to leave the program before the news about Guerendo came out on Tuesday.

The main running back in the Badger backfield was Allen this season as expected, but Guerendo added some nice depth and will surely be missed. Chez Mellusi is going to be back for 2023, however.

Luke Fickell is taking over for interim HC Jim Leonhard, who led the team to a 6-6 record and bowl berth. Tradition will keep you posted on if any other players like RB Braelon Allen end up transferring ahead of the team’s bowl game with Oklahoma State.
