DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The dog the Dayton Police Department asked for assistance in locating has been found.
According to the Dayton Police Department, 1-year-old miniature schnauzer Gonzo was believed to have been stolen out of the backyard of a home on Alwildy Avenue on Nov. 28.
On Dec. 6, the Dayton Police Department reported that Gonzo has been found and returned to his owner.
Police said Gonzo is gray and black and a registered service dog. The dog was reportedly a birthday present for an elderly woman who lives on Alwildy Avenue.
