BEAVER, Pa. (WKBN)- Pennsylvania has named its 2023 teacher of the year.
The winner is from Beaver County, which is about 20 minutes from East Palestine. Ryan Hardesty works for Blackhawk School District as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher.
He was picked from 12 nominees across the state.
They all gathered yesterday in Hershey for the ceremony.
