Chen is charged with Pace's murder. Pace went missing on November 22nd. Her mother tracked her vehicle to an address on Mountain Creek Road, after she had met up with Chen.
A police affidavit says detectives later found evidence of blood inside Chen's apartment. Neighbors told officers they heard sounds of a struggle coming from Chen's apartment in the early morning hours, according to the affidavit.
Surveillance video at a Walgreens on Frazier Avenue showed Chen buying cleaning materials shortly after Pace's disappearance, the affidavit says.
Police later tracked Chen down in Williamson County, Tennessee on November 30th.
