DANA POINT, Calif. — The Dana Point Harbor 47^th annual Boat Parade of Lights will begin Friday, Dec. 9 and be around through the week. The Scognamiglio family has taken part in the parade for decades.

This year, Marco Scognamiglio decorated his boat, the “Bella Vita,” along with his assistant, or father, Enzo. They’re hoping to place in the parade for the first time.

Look out for boat No. 161.

In addition to the parade, the harbor area is lit with over 700,000 LED lights. For the romantics, there is a Merry Kiss Me arch to cozy up under.
