Georgetown Police say two Charleston County residents were arrested Saturday after nearly 40 grams of marijuana and two handguns were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop.
Terry Taylor Jr, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and unlawful caring of a pistol.
Glenn Logan lll, 19, was charged with possession of a stolen pistol, and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
Officers said the suspects' vehicle was stopped on Saturday after it was observed traveling at a high rate of speed in the Maryville community.
When approaching the vehicle, officers noted a strong odor of marijuana.
They located 39.6 grams of marijuana, $3,592 dollars in cash and two handguns during a search.
Both suspects were booked in the Georgetown County Detention Center.
