Coldplay just wrapped up their fan-favorite "Music Of The Spheres" tour and it seems like they have more time to work on their next music project as they revealed that they're currently back in the studio to work on something; when is it going to be released?
Taking to their official Twitter account, the band gave fans an update about their current favorite songs which include RM and Erykah Badu's "Yun," "Looking for Somebody (to Love)" by The 1975, "Hide & Seek" by Stormzy, Totally's "Inhaler," "Hurt People" by Kyoka, and more.
The band concluded their statement by saying, "we are in the studio." It appears that fans are excited about new music as the post already amassed more than 100,000 likes on the platform within a few hours.
As of this writing, Coldplay has not officially announced a new music project or a release date for their new music.
Their latest album "Music of the Spheres" was released last year and it featured collaborators like Jacob Collier, Selena Gomez, We Are King, BTS, and more.
Coldplay Upcoming Shows
Many fans are excited for the Christmas season as well as this year's Capital's Jingle Bell Ball which will feature Coldplay and Lewis Capaldi.
The event will take place on December 10 to 11 at The O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
Other performers include Sam Smith, Nathan Dawe, Mimi Webb, Tom Grennan, Sigala, F System, Eliza Rose, and many more.

The band is currently taking a break from touring but they will return for more shows in the United Kingdom and Europe next year.
In early reports, the "Music Of The Spheres" world tour will resume in May, June, and July 2023. The new set of shows will begin in Portugal before touring across Italy, Spain, and many more.
Coldplay Retiring Soon?
Last year, frontman Chris Martin revealed that the band will retire after releasing 12 albums, meaning they will drop three more music projects after their current era.
"I think that in a few albums time we will finish making albums. This is not a joke, this is true, I think after 12, that will be the end of our catalogue," he told Andy Bush of Absolute Radio. (via Daily Mail UK)
Even though they will stop releasing new music, this doesn't mean that they will retire from performing completely as they still have plans to play live in front of their fans.
"I think we will always want to play live together... That will be wonderful, if anybody wants to come," he added.
