Police investigate vandalized bathroom and egged house: Strongsville Police Blotter

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio

Disturbance: Pearl Road

On Nov. 18, a Burger King employee called police about a woman causing a disturbance at the Pearl Road restaurant.

The caller said the woman had not only vandalized the bathroom, but also refused to leave.

An arriving officer located the suspect outside the restaurant. She denied vandalizing the bathroom, but did admit to making a mess and not cleaning up.

No charges were filed. However, the fast-food restaurant did ban her from the location.

Egged: Shagbark Trail

On Nov. 18, a Shagbark Trail resident called police after realizing that somebody had egged his home.

The man said it had happened 15 minutes prior to his call. The resident asked for the home to be put on special attention. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Theft: Pearl Road

On Nov. 18, a senior living facility representative came to the police station after discovering that a former employee was still using the company credit card. Police are investigating.

Reckless operation: West 130th Street

On Nov. 18, a concerned driver called police about a gray SUV weaving all over West 130th Street. An arriving officer was unable to locate the suspect.

Property theft: Pearl Road

On Nov. 18, a Pearl Road resident called police after discovering that someone had stolen property from his unlocked Ford pickup truck.

An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said a thief took tools by opening up the rear sliding window, which wasn’t locked. The truck was parked along a back fence. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Warrant: Southpark Center

On Nov. 18, Southpark Center security called police after identifying a man stealing merchandise from the mall.

An arriving officer located the suspect, who it turned out had a warrant. The man was arrested and held for transport. He was also cited for theft.
