Morgan Wallen was already set to headline one of Milwaukee’s biggest concerts in 2023. Now he’s doing two of them.

On Monday night, the country star announced 14 additional shows for his “One Night at a Time” world tour, which first had been announced Dec. 1. The North American leg will still start in Milwaukee at American Family Field, except now the tour kickoff is a newly added show on April 14.

Combined with the previously announced Milwaukee show April 15, this marks the first time an artist will headline two consecutive nights at the Brewers stadium since it opened as Miller Park in 2001. The stadium is also breaking its record for the most major concerts in a single year with four. (George Strait, with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town, is coming June 3, while Pink performs Aug. 14.)

Wallen announced other additional stadium shows Monday night, including an extra date at Wrigley Field in Chicago. This fall, his 2021 album ”Dangerous: The Double Album“ became the longest-running album for a solo artist in any genre in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

But a few weeks after it debuted at No. 1 last year, a video circulated of Wallen saying a racial slur. The fallout included losing his booking agency, having songs pulled from country radio stations and streaming playlists, and becoming ineligible for the ACM Awards.

Wallen apologized and fulfilled a pledge to donate $500,000 to Black-serving organizations, according to USA TODAY reporting. He’s since returned to radio, touring and award shows, winning the ACM Award for album of the year and two American Music Awards this year.

Tickets for both Milwaukee shows will be available starting at 2 p.m. Dec. 9 on morganwallen.com and through Ticketmaster. Presales are available from 2 p.m. Dec. 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 8 for previous registrants of Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system.

Registrants for the April 15 show in Milwaukee will be automatically rolled into the presale for April 14 should the presales for the 15th sell out. An email will be sent to registrants Tuesday night with access codes for presale access and more information.

VIP packages, platinum seats and aisle seat offers go on sale at 2 p.m. Dec. 7. Ticket prices weren't immediately available, but according to the Brewers, there will be an 8-ticket limit per transaction.

Country artists Hardy, Ernest and Bailey Zimmerman will also open for Wallen April 14.
