Pokémon GO December Community Day 2022 will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18, Niantic announced Monday.

This event is said to be perfect for catching Pokémon from Community Day events this year you may have missed. Here's a breakdown of the upcoming December Community Day 2022 event in Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO December 2022 Community Day Explained

The December 2022 Community Day is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time on both Saturday, Dec. 17, and Sunday, Dec. 18.

Being that this is the final Community Day event for the year, Pokémon GO is set to have many familiar faces make their returns this time around instead of having a new single featured Pokémon.

Throughout the event, Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2022 (e.g. Teddirusa) will be appearing more frequently in the wild and in Timed Research, while Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2021 will be hatching from Eggs and appearing in raids and Timed Research.

As such, this is shaping up to be a great event for those who've missed out on any Pokémon featured in Community Day events from the last two years.

Given that this is Pokémon GO's last community day of the year, Niantic will be giving players nine additional special bonuses during the event:
