A fifth VIP Tires & Service store has opened in Vermont. The company renovated a former car dealership in Bennington, Vt.
With the opening, VIP Inc. has 67 stores in the Northeast. The Bennington store, located at 183 Phyllis Lane, opened Dec. 2 and is managed by John Chapman. It offers tires as well as a full menu of automotive services.
The 5,760-square-foot building is located in a former Hyundai dealership. It’s undergone a complete renovation, with four new bay doors added to the front of the building, a new concrete shop floor, plus a new roof, parking lot, restrooms and landscaping.
“After hearing great things about the area and visiting ourselves, we decided that Bennington would be ideal for our next VIP Tires & Service location,” says Tim Winkeler, President and CEO of VIP. “We are proud to be opening our 67th location in Bennington and look forward to serving the local community.”
