What’s New at Disney Springs: A Baby Yoda Vera Bradley Collection

If it’s been a while since you’ve been to Disney Springs, we have all of the updates for you!. Disney World has been pretty busy lately with the closing of Splash Mountain, the upcoming changes to nighttime shows, and the upcoming grand opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run. While all of that has been focused on the parks, we can’t leave out Disney Springs! So today we’re going to catch you up on all things new happening in Disney’s shopping, dining, and entertainment complex.

There are TONS of new treats at the Disney parks right now, but you don’t have to travel far to get another seasonal fan favorite!. We’ve already checked out some new Disney 100th anniversary Happy Meal toys at McDonald’s, and there’s an entire collection of Loungefly bags themed to the popular fast food chain. Members of the six unions representing Disney World employees have voted no on a contract that Disney had positioned as its best offer. According to Unite Here Local 362, union members rejected the offer by a 96% margin. Disney World’s current contract with its unionized Cast Members expired October 1st, 2022. The Cast Members are working under a contract extension that will continue even after this week’s “no” vote.

One fan-favorite Disney World treat just got a seasonal update, and we’re heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check it out!. Over at Woody’s Lunch Box, you’ll find eats like grilled cheese with tomato soup, totchos (tater tot nachos), and — of course — lunch box tarts! These are basically fancy pop tarts, but somehow they’re also so much more than that. Come along with us to try the latest flavor of lunch box tart, which arrived for Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully event.

Jambalaya? Check. Po’ Boys? Check. Beignets? Check, check, check!. When guests visit Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort they know they’ll find an array of Creole and Cajun dishes, snacks, and drinks. Apart from these staples, sometimes the resort has specialty dishes depending on the time of year. With February being Black History Month, Celebrate Soulfully is coming back to Disney World as the parks and resorts share special offerings as part of the celebration.

Pause whatever you’re doing. If you love cakes and Disney World, there’s a snack you absolutely MUST see. Disney often has limited-time snacks available and now is no exception. Celebrate Soulfully is Disney’s way of celebrating “soul-inspiring experiences” and it gets a particular highlight during Black History Month in February. The event has actually brought a number of new snacks to the parks and resorts, and now we’re headed to one location at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter for an EPIC cake.

The Walt Disney World Railroad is back, TRON Lightcycle / Run is just weeks away from its official opening, Splash Mountain has CLOSED to become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and other updates are underway. But another massive change is coming to one of this park’s most popular restaurants and it’ll bring some price adjustments with it.

DOLE Whip creations in Disney World can be wonderfully delicious or, apparently, DANGEROUS. We have had all kinds of DOLE Whip treats over the years — DOLE Whip flights, a POG juice DOLE Whip float, and floats themed to characters you can’t even meet in Disney World. But Disney’s latest DOLE Whip option is one that may be dangerous for a very specific reason.

Today, we were eating at a certain popular Smokehouse when we came across an entirely NEW snack!

There are so many great restaurants in Disney Springs to try out, and we know we have to revisit them when new snacks are released (not that we’re complaining!). We recently found new cupcakes in Disney Springs, but now there’s a new poutine we just HAD to try!
